Crawl space encapsulation installation, as you may have already imagined, is no simple task to accomplish. There's no vast array of volunteers waiting in line to crawl underneath your house. And of those willing, good luck finding the few that care about their end results, and overall, their reputation. 
    Therein lies one of the key ingredients to achieving results such as always seen on any Tanner Flowers project. It's difficult to compete against someone who's reputation is always on the line. Especially whenever that person cares passionately about their reputation, and is fully aware that if he/she wants to continue building a successful business, that they in turn must continuously increase their own credibility.

      No one can put the effort in for you. No one can create the desire for you to want to deliver exceptional quality projects. Few are going to be willing to go through the years of trial and error required to gain the knowledge on their own, to produce consistent first class results. That in itself is an extreme mental challenge to overcome, and the physical punishment your body will go through in getting there, starts weighing a heavy toll in due time.
      I once terminated workers for sharing pictures of my in progress projects. I encouraged everyone to share the finished project, but no one was ever allowed to show any in progress material. I never wanted anyone knowing my system. Still, to this day, you can click on any of my projects, and then click on anyone else's, and immediately realize that, ''Damn, Tanner really wasn't just talking shit all of these years!''
       Once you have came to the realization that I have ALWAYS SPOKEN THE TRUTH, you might then be able to comprehend how I can be of value to those of you going down the same path I did. I can save you years, versus just ''learning as you go''. That's what I had to do! You don't have to do that!

     Are musky odors coming from my crawl space? I was discussing this exact question with a homeowner yesterday. The answer is, any home that has a crawl space, whether it be a full crawl space foundation, or half basement, half crawl space foundation, will have a distinguishable scent inside the crawl space portion of the project, versus the actual living quarters of the home. Much is the same with basements. Ever opened a basement door to go downstairs, and the musky odor from the basement immediately knocks you in your face? It's the same type smell. It accumulates due to excessive humidity within the confines of the crawl space, and makes its way up, into the living quarters of the home.
     The musky odors will die down some during the winter months, as cold weather drops humidity in the air. Whenever spring comes around, we start getting more rain, and temperature rises. This results in the increase of humidity in the air, as well as an increase of moisture content within the soil, in turn resulting in an increase of musky odors present within the home itself.
     The way to remedy this situation is to gain control of the excessive humidity within the crawl space, so that it is no longer able to present problems to the home. As you have seen me do all these years with my crawl space encapsulation system, I am changing the crawl space's environment entirely! You have, and will always notice, my system doesn't change. That is solely due to the fact that my system works, and has been working for a long, long time now.
     Part of the system is not the system. An encapsulation itself is not the remedy. A dehumidifier placed inside of an ongoing, unchanged damp environment will work itself to death! The play hand in hand off of one another. They're teammates! Once they have in partnership, gained control of the humidity inside the crawl space, the once present musky odors are no more. 
     And why are they no more? To reiterate: The crawl space environment has been changed. The environment that provided adequate means of excessive humidity has lost the fight. The system wins again! Just like it wins every single time you have ever seen me do it. That's why it stays the same. And it's how you to, can get rid of moisture problems inside your crawl space, which are what's causing the musky odors inside of your home.

     I first began writing ''Everything You Need To Know About Crawl Space Encapsulations'' back in 2017! I chiseled away at the manuscript on and off, for a number of years, until finally deciding recently that I was going to complete it. 
     Fortunately for me, there has been two or three people interested in watching my crawl space encapsulation videos, which I began posting in 2015. I began installing crawl space encapsulations in 2008, but I did not begin posting finished project videos until some time in 2015. As soon as I began posting my crawl space project videos, I started getting regularly asked, ''Tanner, how in the world do you get them crawl spaces looking like you do?'' 
     Funny thing is, I wasn't ever able to tell my secrets. Everything I had created, I had done so via trial and error, in route to accomplishing the finished projects you are accustomed to seeing attached to my name. The only people I could share any of my system's steps with, were my employees. I had no desire to share my techniques with anyone outside of my team.
     Then, I finally accepted some lucrative offers, and began training other companies, outside of my personal territory of course. These company training events began with a starting price of $10,000, plus all associated travel costs. Throughout the years, due to the demand, and accompanied travel, training pricing increased. I no longer even consider leaving home for anything less than $20,000, plus all associated travel costs.
     These are real, actual numbers that I am sharing with you for a reason. You see, the information, aka ''my system'', is what everyone has always been after. They want me to teach them how to do what it is that I do! Fact of the matter is, all I do IS DO MY BEST! It's all that I've ever done! I always wanted to best the Tanner Flowers from the previous project! I just wanted to outdo that guy! Every time I train anyone, I want to leave there, wherever it may be, with whoever paid me knowing, ''Damn he just gave us his all!'' What I am saying to you right here, right now, this is my secret! The cat's out of the bag! 
     As mentioned, yes I have created a system that goes along with my secret, which I guess ain't so secret anymore. The system must be followed. Everything has to be done in the order given. Materials never change. I teach everyone to follow the same recipe. It's my recipe. And my recipe works better than any other recipe I have ever witnessed.
     People are free to have their own opinion. I don't mind who agrees, or disagrees, with any information I have provided via online finished project videos, or via my book. Here's what I do know, if I had EVER seen ANYONE produce results better than me, I would have figured out whatever it is that they were doing, and copied them down to a t. But I never seen anyone do it! 
     Sure I've had people talk their fair share of smack online, but no one has ever shown the results, that I consistently have shown the world, since I began producing content on crawl space encapsulations. If you wonder why that's so? It's due to no one else's name ever being on the line but Tanner Flowers. If these customers are ever upset, they are upset with Tanner Flowers. The opposite is also true. If a customer is happier than any service company has ever left them, they are happy with Tanner Flowers! And as a business owner since 2005, who has to deal with customers daily, do you suspect that I'd rather deal with happy customers, or unhappy customers?
     I am sure you are intelligent enough to know that answer! I have always given everything in my power, to leave my customers happier than I found them! You might want to re-read that one again! Hell I'll say it again! I WANT TO LEAVE PEOPLE, NOT JUST CUSTOMERS, HAPPIER THAN I FIND THEM!
     These are the reasonings why people seemingly admire my character. I ain't been putting on no show for the world to see. I have always given you me! I'm giving you me right this second, as I type this new blog! I have never known how to be any other kind of way.
     So what I'm getting at, is I want whoever chooses to buy my new book, to know ahead of time, that I have re-read this book, at least ten times! I just finished reading it again, and actually making some minor adjustments with my current edits. I already felt good about it, but after today's adjustments, I am really, really excited, GENUINELY, for those of you that are looking to learn more about what I do, to finally be able to follow along with me step by step. I did not skip a beat. 
     I got everything in this book from the initial inspection of the crawl space, to the final cleanup of the finished crawl space encapsulation project. And yes, if you too will follow along with me step-by-step of the way, using the same products, and referring to finished Tanner Flowers project videos, with the help of the new book, I am extremely confident that you will be able to accomplish a finished result, that you will be proud of.

As my crawl space encapsulation training events continue to grow, so do the areas in which you may be lucky enough to find a ''Tanner Flowers Quality Project'', TFQP for short. Haha!

As of the beginning of March 2023, I officially now have a personally trained crawl space service company in Raleigh, NC. They will also do travel projects, and cover all North Carolina territories adjacent to Raleigh.

I have sent my local Cleveland, TN crew to North Carolina on two separate occasions, before going to Aberdeen, NC myself a few weeks ago, and training my new team there. We have videos on here, as well as on the YOUTUBE.COM/TANNERFLOWERS page, showcasing multiple Fayetteville, NC crawl space projects.

The homeowner in Southern Pines, NC, next to Raleigh, NC, where I conducted my most recent crawl space company training event, is the owner of a large h-vac service company there, and he too finds himself within crawl space foundation homes daily. He told me last week, ''I have never seen anyone here, do anything close to what you do.''

And if anybody you know is honest....they'll tell you the same damn thing!

You won't find a Tanner Flowers Quality Project unless Tanner Flowers has done the project, or unless Tanner Flowers has personally trained the team to conduct such a quality project. That's it! And if you doubt that, get to stroking you a check to some other company, and find out the hard way! 

I have been trying to help you smart homeowners for years. I hate seeing you good people get rooked! A lot of you have already gotten rooked! Some of you are in the process of getting rooked as we speak!      I get asked daily, ''Tanner, how much do you think it will cost to get my crawl space encapsulated? It's probably somewhere around 1600 square feet.''

     First off, I do appreciate you reaching out to me. But, pricing for encapsulation projects are not based off of crawlspace square footage alone.

     Not only that, even going beyond getting the exact measurements of your home's foundation, the measurements are not the only component that goes into pricing your crawl space encapsulation service.

     A few of the important matters at hand are: 

-Does the crawl space have existing insulation, that is already wet, and falling throughout the crawl space, and needs to be removed?

-Does the crawl space have mold, fungus, and mildew growth all over the floor joists, that needs to be treated, once the existing insulation (if any), has been removed?

-Does the crawl space have standing water inside it, or visible signs of standing water being atop current ground levels of the crawl space during heavy rains? 

-Does the homeowner wish to go back with our r19 poly-encapsulated floor insulation, once we have completed the crawl space encapsulation service?

-Are there any existing floor joists, or main support beams inside the crawl space that need to be repaired, or replaced?

-Is there any need for additional floor supports to be added inside the crawl space, to increase the actual stability, of the structure of the current floor framing system?

     What I need to stress to everyone reading this is....THOSE ARE ALL DIFFERENT SERVICES, OR PROJECTS, OR WHATEVER IT IS YOU WANT TO REFER TO THEM AS!

     And, as you may could imagine, as with any other project, or service, each individual component of the total service, requires for specific materials, labor, and time frames, in order to be completed in the proper manner, that all of you expect to get, when hiring Tennessee Technicians.

     Depending on the needed services, in order to fix the moisture, water, or drainage problems within the home, each required repair can affect the overall total project price drastically! You could have two identical houses, with the exact same measurements, in two different towns, that are experiencing different problems, and one could need a full inside perimeter french drain project, basin, sump pump, wiring, and plumbing a discharge line to an outside pop-up drain, and the other not need any of those things! 

     Well, needing, and not needing an inside perimeter french drain system, to remove an existing, or potential standing water issue, will result in likely a $6,500 - $10,000+ difference, in the total project pricing.

     Floor repairs? Let me just go ahead and tell you, ''That stuff ain't cheap folks!''

     Nothing we do here at ''Tennessee Technicians'' is ''cheap''! If it's cheap you're after, please leave this website now, forget about ever seeing my name, or videos, and while you're at it, tell any friends you got like you, to not ever contact me either! I don't have time for you, or your little buddies!

     There are countless homeowners out there, that recognize what it is, that we bring to the table, as soon as they see any project video that we have attached our name too! And you see, I don't need any of you to tell me that either! I been being told that, for over 15+ years now, since I started Tennessee Technicians! So if you think you can get what we bring to the table, anywhere else, be my guest, and find out the hard way.

     So hopefully this gives you a better understanding, as to why I cannot just ''spout out numbers'' to you, like most bs companies will do. Until I have personally seen your project, I don't even know if we can do your project! That thing could have inaccessible areas for all I know!

     I may jump on the phone with you, determine in about twenty seconds that I don't like you, and choose to not do anything for you, and be thankful when I hang the phone up on you, that I never wasted any of my time on you, and that I successfully eliminated another one of you from my life!
