I am probably currently talking to more actual crawl space company owners, than anyone inside the industry. More and more business owners are finding me for their first time ever, which always fascinates me, as I have been doing this for almost 21 years now! But hey, I'm always excited to talk to the eager ones. They're the ones that want it most! And whoever wants it most, that's who I like to put energy into, as they are also usually the ones willing to put in the effort.

You can want until you're blue in the face junior. But wanting don't create shit! You can tell everyone what you're going to create, but talking don't create shit! Nothing is ever going to happen, and nothing is ever going to change, until you get off that ass and make it happen!

If you think I'm some kind of wizard, that can magically make you be like me, just because you spend thousands of dollars with me in a desire to become better, listen close...."The name's Tanner, not Merlin! Put that credit card back in your wallet! I ain't got no spells up my sleeve! If you want me to be of value to you, you better be ready to uphold the standard! And there ain't no mysticism about that! It's straight up hard ass work, and you actually giving a shit about every outcome!"

You see, the trick for us business owners is, there's no one here to make us be, or not be, any certain way. I've always thrived on that shit! Truth is, I feed on the credit son! I'll take it all! But if you want the credit, you gotta earn it! And after living this life for almost 21 years now, it is shocking, absolutely mind blowing, I still have a hard time understanding, how few people are capable of managing it all, without someone else hovering over the top of them, telling them that they have to!

Seriously, I used to think everyone wanted to be the best that they could be. I thought everyone hated having a boss. I thought everyone hated having a job. But boy was I ever dumber than hell on those thoughts? I couldn't have been more off in judgement!

Let me make you aware of something....the masses are mentally ok with average, or below. They don't just need a boss, THEY HAVE TO HAVE A BOSS! There are no thoughts of becoming more, as becoming more would require a change in thought and habits, which would make them uncomfortable. And if nothing changes, nothing changes.

Whereas, the thought of nothing changing in unbearable to some. I used to punch the time clock daily! Did it for years! I was a grown ass man who would cry his eyeballs out in misery, just thinking about clocking in the next day! It was one of the most depressing times of my life. Something had to change! And thank goodness, I was smart enough to know there wasn't anybody ever coming to my rescue! If it was to be, it was up to me, and I'm typing this letter to you this morning, still seeking to become better than I was yesterday! What decisions can I make today, that may be smarter than the ones I made yesterday?
